A few days ago, the School Enterprise Challenge and the Stoplight Olympics were presented to the educational institutions of the Cerrito community, within the framework of the Cerrito Poverty Stoplight initiative, and in conjunction with the Entrepreneurial Education program of the Fundación Paraguaya. The activity was aimed at school authorities and teachers of primary and secondary schools in the area, and was hosted by the Hotel Cerrito.
The objective of these presentations was to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit in the students of the primary and secondary schools, through initiatives and own projects for the improvement of their educational institutions. In addition to the school authorities and teachers, professional volunteers of the Fundación Paraguaya and AROVIA also participated, and Norma Ortiz, coordinator of the School Enterprise Challenge, who was in charge of the presentation.
“These activities contribute to the participation, integration and empowerment of students, teachers and school authorities, for the achievement of common goals,” said Ortiz.
As a positive result of the day, more than 7 schools enrolled in the School Enterprise Challenge. On the part of both the organization and those in charge of the Cerrito Poverty Stoplight initiative, there will be a constant follow-up and accompaniment to the activities carried out by the participating institutions.
