Education opens doors. It allows individuals to realize their full potential - and in doing so benefits society as a whole. Schools have, however, traditionally tended to take an academic approach to teaching and focused overwhelmingly on conventional subjects such as math, science, and language.
Our Education for Entrepreneurship program provides a complementary approach. We believe a fully rounded education needs to prepare young people for the world of business they’ll live in after their studies. Students, from pre-school through high school and beyond, take part in a range of programs designed to increase their understanding of the economic world around them. Our ‘learning-through-doing’ sessions keep students interested – which ensures they learn more.
You can’t, however, learn entrepreneurship just from a book.
Companies in the Classroom
Working with schools, we also bring business into the classroom – literally! We seek out volunteers from local businesses who can dedicate a fixed amount of time to putting something back into their community. Their experience and dedication contributes enormously – particularly to our program where students set up their very own businesses.
