COMPU PARA TODOS reaches the daughters of the Mbaracayú forest

Fundación Paraguaya took its “COMPU PARA TODOS” program to the students of the Mbaracayú Educational Center, of the Fundación Moisés Bertoni, through the donation of 20 computers to equip their computer room.

The delivery of the computer equipments was attended by a delegation from the Fundación Paraguaya led by its founder, PhD. Martín Burt, in addition to the general manager of the Fundación Moisés Bertoni, Daniel Jacquet, the director of the Mbaracayú Educational Center, Sonnia Sanabria, and students of the institution.

This way, the self-proclaimed daughters of the forest will have more digital tools to continue their studies at the institution located in the heart of the Mbaracayú Forest Nature Reserve, located in the Department of Canindeyú.

Martín Burt highlighted the importance of training young people for a digital present and future, where knowledge and proper use of technology is essential to carry out all kinds of productive, socioeconomic, and environmental activities.

The Mbaracayú Educational Center (CEM, for its acronym in Spanish) began its activities in 2009 and is promoted by the Fundación Paraguaya in alliance with the Fundación Moisés Bertoni.

The National Reserve where the CEM is located, has 65,000 hectares, and offers quality education with principles of self-sufficiency, entrepreneurship and leadership for self-sustainable development.

The school uses the self-sustaining educational model of the Fundación Paraguaya, in addition to its “Learn by doing, selling and earning” methodology, where adolescent women receive the Technical Diploma in Environmental Sciences. This school also has a hotel called Mbaracayú Lodge, which offers first class service.
