More than 3,200 spectators in Fundación Paraguaya’s Gaming Cup

With high participation and virtual days of exciting sports disputes, the Gaming Cup video game tournament, organized by the Fundación Paraguaya and Lanpy Esports, came to an end, which brought together 215 participants, who played 256 games, witnessed by a total of 3,241 spectators.

 

The tournament’s brand-new winners are:

 

First place: Guille Flecha, he won an Acer notebook as a prize, plus a gamer kit, his corresponding trophy, and a gamer chair.

 

Second place: Ricardo Cartes, he won a gamer kit, plus an Acer notebook.

 

Third place: Diego Duarte, he won a gamer headset, plus an Acer notebook.

 

The awards ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Fundación Paraguaya, and was led by the CEO of Fundación Paraguaya, PhD. Martín Burt, who highlighted the importance of promoting this type of initiative so that young people continue learning to use digital tools.

 

“From Fundación Paraguaya, we will continue to support these activities because it is in our interest that more and more young people learn how to use the different types of technologies and digital skills, to explore technological job niches, such as bitcoin mines, among other areas that are the future,” he stressed.

 

The tournament had a total of 143,221 minutes viewed and interaction through 463 chats, and over 8,000 messages.
