School Enterprise Challenge 2019 is underway
The fourth edition of the School Enterprise Challenge 2019 is officially underway, an initiative that seeks entrepreneurial educational institutions to solve their needs in an independent manner, by creating profitable school ventures with a social and innovative approach to self-management. The Challenge is carried out by the Entrepreneurial Education area, and has the support of the Ministry of Education and Sciences.
Last year, 14,905 teachers and 112,230 students from all the departments of Paraguay were involved in the Challenge. At an international level, the Challenge is replicated through the Teach a Man To Fish organization, reaching more than 100 countries with the School Enterprise Challenge. During the competition, learning is encouraged and self-management and research initiatives are developed. Students set goals, face contingencies and unforeseen events and take advantage of the opportunities presented to them.
In addition, this initiative seeks to create and provide spaces for the student to develop creativity and critical thinking and to consolidate entrepreneurial skills and show work attitudes that generate a paradigm shift in participating primary and secondary schools.
The School Enterprise Challenge is aimed at all primary and secondary schools that show interest in participating; the registrations are open until May 31. For more information, interested parties can call Fundación Paraguaya (021 609277), to the Entrepreneurial Education area, or the Fan Page School Enterprise Challenge Paraguay.
