Women entrepreneurs will be trained with the Breaking the cycle 2.0 program

“An entrepreneur is someone who has the idea of starting a business that no one else has thought of before; it is someone who thinks they can generate revenue by selling a given product or service.” With this phrase, the CEO of Fundación Paraguaya, Martín Burt opened the training cycle “Breaking the Cicle 2.0”, discussing the “Entrepreneurship and Leadership” topic, one of many that will take place during the event.

This program is carried out by the Fundación Paraguaya, together with the Embassy of the United States in the country, it is implemented through the Entrepreneurial Education area. Four hundred women entrepreneurs are participating, who will be benefited with the training and will learn about various topics, such as digital marketing, tax law, business formalization, prevention of gender violence and entrepreneurship.

Johanna Villalobos, Press & Cultural Affairs Section Chief of the Embassy of the United States of America, also said that it is a great challenge for each of the participants, since in some way during this pandemic, many had to accompany their children with their education through virtual classes. “Now it’s your turn to be part of this new modality, by taking on key roles” she said.

She also mentioned that this project goes on to show the interest of the Embassy in developing sustainable business ecosystems for women entrepreneurs in Latin America, and that they will continue working to achieve a more inclusive society, where all can benefit from their efforts.
