Fundación Paraguaya opened its new office in the city of Paraguarí

Fundación Paraguaya held the opening ceremony of its new site in the city of Paraguarí, located on Ruta 1 Francisco Solano López esquina Ytororó, with the presence of authorities of the Fundación, in addition to the mayor of Paraguarí, Marcelo Simbrón, councilors, clients and  special guests.

Patricia Fernández, manager of the Paraguarí office, highlighted that Fundación Paraguaya has been in the city for 16 years, and that this new site will provide all clients with greater comfort and accessibility.

“We are very happy for opening the doors of this new location, which is much larger, more comfortable and that aims at providing the best care to our more than 3,000 active clients, and 135 women’s committees, who find in the Fundación several benefits in addition to the training and credits, such as medical insurance, discounts at participating stores, free movie tickets, monthly raffles for electrical appliances, among others,” she said.

Luis Fernando Sanabria, general manager of Fundación Paraguaya, thanked the presence of the municipal authorities, as well as the clients and presidents of the women’s committees from Paraguarí, who attended the opening ceremony.

“We work with microentrepreneurs who require individual loans but also with women’s committees – a total of 135 in Paraguarí,- and more than 4,000 throughout the country. Each committee has a minimum of 15 members, without a maximum, which allows them to work in solidarity. At the Fundación we give them loans, but that is only one part of our task, because we also focus on training women within the committees, so that they can work together and properly manage their small businesses, and keep on promoting solidarity, which during the pandemic managed to provide more than 400 community meals through the committees. We believe that the future of Paraguay is to work together to get ahead”, she highlighted.

For his part, the mayor of Paraguarí, Marcelo Simbrón stressed that it is important to support private companies that provide a service that benefits the community. “Fundación Paraguaya is a consolidated company in Paraguarí, which provides services that benefit many families and many young people who find a job opportunity here which is so important for our community,” he said.
