The Fundación Paraguaya presented the 21st edition of the Forum of  Entrepreneurs Paraguay (FEP). This edition is called “We are ready”, which represents the spirit that entrepreneurs must have in the face of the health emergency. “We want an education that transforms young people; a prosperous and strengthened education that awakens the entrepreneurial spirit and that, despite the adversities of a complicated year, keeps on changing the country,” says the executive director of Fundación Paraguaya, Martín Burt, who, through this event, has brought the Paraguayan youth together for the past 21 years.

Lorena Soto, manager of entrepreneurial education, and Diana González, also from the aforementioned area, where the ones who explained this year’s theme. In that sense, they said that the “Hacking FEP – We are ready”, will be held on October 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31 through the zoom platform, it will be the first to be held in a totally virtual way, aims to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit of the participants through a hackathon where they can create innovative solutions to problems, focusing on three main axes: education, digital empowerment and entrepreneurial spirit.

Activities such as motivational webinars, training workshops, explanatory talks on the topics, debates, interviews about FEP Hacking, talent weekend, team competitions (referring to the topics of the FEP 2020), presentation of projects and the subsequent award ceremony to the most outstanding teams and participants will take place. Previously, there will be explanatory workshops to the participants (via zoom) that will aim at directing the projects of each team; the monitoring of the process will be through WhatsApp groups between the participants and the organizing team, as well as with the mentors designated for the different groups.

The requirements to participate in the FEP 2020 are: be between 16 and 25 years of age, form teams, know group activities, be creative and be willing to use a lot of imagination, be collaborative and enthusiastic, commit to finishing the process, have a notion about the uses of technology or being willing to learn about them, and the desire to build a better Paraguay where we all want to live.
