Junior Achievement launched the “EcoEmprendedores” program

Junior Achievement, represented in our country by Fundación Paraguaya, launched the “EcoEmprendedores” program in its stand at the Mariano Roque Alonso Expo (Industrial Pavilion of Paraguay). It is an educational project of social responsibility and ecological entrepreneurship aimed at students of the last 3 years of high school, from different areas of the country. Supported by GNB Banco, the objective of the program -which is carried out for the second time,- is to promote and motivate entrepreneurial attitudes in the face of the environmental problems we are dealing with.

Also, EcoEmprendedores seeks to empower young people by fostering green economy, cooperation and sustainability principles in their ventures, hoping that they will develop the ability to look around, detect environmental problems and recognize that these can be turned into an opportunity. It also aims for the students to be able to design creative and innovative ideas that propose viable, tangible and sustainable solutions over time.

That is why Fundación Paraguaya -through Junior Achievement,- and GNB Banco join forces to support education, considering ecological ventures as wonderful tools to counteract environmental problems, generating attitude changes that will lead to having an impact on society.

With EcoEmprendedores, it is foreseen to evolve towards a society of good environmental practices, where the development and generation of ideas are promoted to create pro-environment projects; thus, building a better world. In the launch of this joint project, representatives of both organizations discussed and shared some points of view regarding this alliance.
