Martín Burt, CEO of Fundación Paraguaya, continuing with his visits to the countryside, visited the Alto Paraná department, where he toured the most important cities in the area, meeting with municipal authorities and women entrepreneurs. He also visited the Ciudad del Este office, and spent some time with the collaborators of said regional headquarters.

The first stop was Ciudad del Este, in Alto Paraná, where following his visit to the office, he met in the local Municipality with Mayor Miguel Prieto and some councilors, with whom they spoke about the work carried out by the Fundación Paraguaya in the country and the city, in addition to presenting the poverty elimination programs carried out by the Fundación with families and communities.

Later that day, Martin Burt met with women entrepreneurs who are members of the Women’s Committee, with whom he talked about how they faced this difficult year of the pandemic, encouraged them to continue with their ventures and lead their families and communities. To finish the day, he moved to the city of Presidente Franco, meeting with the municipal authorities.

To end his visit to Alto Paraná, Martín Burt went to the city of Minga Guazú, where he was received by municipal councilors with whom they also met to discuss the poverty elimination programs that the Fundación Paraguaya has.
