The 2022 FEP welcomes 180 young people who seek to change the reality of the country

The Foro de Emprendedores Paraguay (Forum of Paraguayan Entrepreneurs) -organized by Fundación Paraguaya and JA Paraguay- began the three-day talks, dynamics and training aimed at young people from the ages 17 to 24 which will take place at the Cerrito School and Hotel, in Benjamín Aceval. This year, the focus is on entrepreneurship and sustainability.

 

Luis Fernando Sanabria, general manager of Fundación Paraguaya welcomed the 23rd edition of the FEP. He also pointed out that Fundación Paraguaya is 37 years old, has 25 offices throughout the country, 3 Self-Sustainable Schools, and works with young and adult entrepreneurs. At the Cerrito School & Hotel -venue for the event, – students graduate with key technical training for their professional future.

 

The hospitality, food and even the ingredients (such as cheese, which is one of its specialties) are products of the students’ work from the Cerrito School & Hotel. “Our school model is being replicated in Tanzania,” he proudly mentioned, while also saying that the Fundación has a presence in 50 countries worldwide by means of the Self-Sustainable School model.

 

Lorena Soto, manager of Fundación Paraguaya’s Entrepreneurial Education program, talked about the latest editions carried out virtually, highlighting the uninterrupted implementation of the FEP despite the pandemic, being an event made “by and for young people”. Soto stressed that there are already 27,000 young people who have gone through the FEP, which this year focuses on innovation and creativity with climate change as its focus.

 

“Climate change is a reality in Paraguay and we want you to help us with your creativity,” she said, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness about this phenomenon and mitigating its impact through entrepreneurship. “We want you to feel motivated after this experience, with a network of contacts, and above all to enjoy these three days”, she concluded.
