After three intense days filled with knowledge, dynamics, networking, innovation and -above all- a great desire to change reality, the 23rd edition of the Foro Emprendedores Paraguay (FEP) has come to an end. It was held at the Cerrito School & Hotel. Under the “Let’s move forward” slogan, this proposal by Fundación Paraguaya and JA Paraguay had innovation and sustainability at its core.

Multiple talks and panels filled the #FEP2022 grid and were led by leaders in different fields such as business, environment, programming, marketing, human talent management, creativity, and psychology. The objective was to strengthen knowledge, encourage participants to undertake, motivate them, and give them practical tools for the future.

In addition to the workshops, the 180 participants were part of a hackathon where they put into practice what they had learned over the past three days. The objective was to put together a business model proposal with a sustainable approach that would solve a detected problem. After much analysis and collective synergy, the young people organized into twelve groups displayed their proposals at stands. At the same time, they pitched their ideas addressed to a specialized jury, which was in charge of evaluating them.

The ‘guacamayos’ group was the winner, with the Ecociclaje business. The proposal combined staged reality with ecology: it consisted of an app that identified materials suitable for recycling, in order to give waste a sustainable destination. #FEP2022 ended with a renewed desire for growth and the commitment to change reality through ideas that break with what is established.
